TrailPlus
TrailPlus organise and run some of the best off road adventure racing in the country, and more importantly....the most FUN! TrailPlus' acclaimed Adventure Challenge Series are action-packed, multi-terrain, adrenaline-filled races for teams of three. Bike, run and canoe your way around the challenging courses and remember to save some energy for the "surprise" finale!
 
Trail Plus also run other hellishly challenging events such as.... Hell Rider, Hell Runner and new for this year...Beauty and the Beast! For the past 3 years I have entered the Adventure Challenge Races and they have been amazing fun and a regular entry on my kitchen calendar!

BikeRight! 
BikeRight! is the largest cycle training company in the North West and it is also where I work during the week as a mountain bike and national standard instructor! The company are all about cycling in it's many forms; from Bikeability to Instructor Training, Freewheeling to Duke of Edinburgh Awards, Cycle to Work to Ride Leader courses and of course Bike Maintenance to Mountain Biking. Mountain bike sessions are run for larger numbered groups such Further Education Colleges, youth groups, corporate team building days, stag or hen parties. Pennine Mountain Bike Association (P.M.B.A)
This group of riders, diggers and trail centre rangers got together to form PMBA over a year ago, they work hard putting a lot of effort into maintaining and helping to build the current and new trails at Lee & Cragg Quarries as well as Gisburn Forest trails. Join up and you can help build the trails that will keep Lanscahire the mountain biking mecca it is!
 
SingletrAction
SingletrAction are a group of riders from all disciplines of mountain biking who believe in putting something back into our hobby by digging and building trails that are not only great to ride but sustainable and causeminimum disturbance to the countryside. SingletrAction are affiliated with and work to IMBA (International Mountain Bike Association) standards and guidelines. ST built that fantastic trails at Dalby, Gisburn, Stainburn and Wharncliffe Woods near Sheffield.
 
 Ride-on

Ride-On is a great bike shop located in Rawtenstall, Lancashire (a few minutes ride from the Lee Quarry Trails). The shop was established in 1995 by Craig Robertson who has a life long passion for all things two wheeled from motorbikes to BMX (northern BMX champion back in the day). The staff are really friendly and approachable with years of riding experience between them, they can find the perfect ride for you, or service and repair your long suffering mountain bike. Next time your at the quarry call in and see what all the fuss is about.

Marmalades Bed and Breakfast
Marmalades is run by my friends Matt and Elaine, both keen mountain bikers and good with spanners too! It is the perfect place to stay while visiting the area to ride the quarry trails. They have great rooms and big breakfasts to start your day's riding off nicely. Then at the end of the day there's secure bike storage, bike washing facilities and lots of homemade cake!..what more could a mountain biker want??  Highly Recommended

The Bicycle Doctor
The Bicycle Doctor is a workers’ co-op and has been selling and repairing all kinds of bicycles at their shop in Rusholme, South Manchester, for more than 30 plus years! They have extensive knowledge of all things bike and offer a wide range of bikes and cycling accessories. These are also the guys that built up my NS Surge (see latest news) and did am AMAZING job , if you need anything for your bike, be it a new set of lights or a full service and rebuild, then the Bicycle Doctor will do you proud.

The Cycle Works is run by my friends Paul and Dee who are HUGE Cross Country mountain bike fans! The Cycle Works is a Manchester based organisation who deliver a great range of bike orientated activities from bike training to guided rides, and smoothie bike hire through to Event management services.
